I’m a girl who likes having the freedom to do her own thing. I resist when people tell me what to do. I rail against schedules and deadlines.

But it seems that my creativity thrives when I set limits. When I give it a challenge, like I’m kneeling down in front of a child saying, Hey do you think you can create something amazing using only popsicle sticks and glue? I bet you can.

Maybe schedules and deadlines can be reframed as just another creative challenge. Maybe so can life.
